ABOUT ACEI PROGRAMS AND PHILOSOPHY Advanced Contemporary Education Institute (ACEI) provides high quality post secondary, tertiary level and English instruction for international students wishing to attend University, and those seeking further career developments. Since 2001 ACEI has been the designated Hong Kong Local Support Office, managing the Foundation and Uniprep program, Bachelor of Engineering(B Eng), Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and Master of Applied Linguistics (MAPL) Programs offered by The University of Southern Queensland (U.S.Q)in Hong Kong. INTRODUCTION The subject of educating people for business and career development has never been so popular. Just as multinationals are seeking to continually explore regional boundaries in their quest for market share, leading business schools and academic institutions have initiated their own plans for expansion. The founders of Advanced Contemporary Education Institute (ACEI) have extensive experience within the international education field. They have developed the concept of setting up an academic and management development centre based in Hong Kong (SAR), to cater for the growing demand for academic, paraprofessional and professional training. The concept is to bring together the best of Eastern and Western education, allowing for proven Western business and education concepts to be adapted, for students and graduates to meeting managerial challenges internationally.
